Shares of Stellantis N.V. (NYSE:STLA) fell sharply in today's pre-market trading.

Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares resigned abruptly amid faltering U.S. sales and looming trade pressures, ending his tenure at one of the world's largest automakers as it grapples with industry-wide challenges.

Stellantis shares dipped 8.4% to $12.09 in the pre-market trading session.
