United States Steel Corporation X shares are trading lower $0.50 (3 percent) in $32.21 in Wednesday's session. The Street isn't satisfied with its Q4 EPS loss of $0.61 vs. $0.32 in Q3 vs. GAAP EPS ($7.74) in same quarter last year. Sales were inline at $2.65 billion.
After a higher open, it rallied another $0.14 to $34.00 before reversing course. That high coincides with its January 27 high of $33.99.
From there, it has continued to make new lows for the session, with the current one standing at $32.02. It's now approaching Tuesday's low of $31.80. If that level is breached, the next support level on daily charts comes in at its January 25 low of $31.31.
