Shares of Ecoland International (ECIT), the Chandler, AZ fertilizer company, rose 30% Tuesday on 6.5 million shares. On Monday, D & R Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ecoland, announced the successful completion and receipt of various orders from Faurecia S.A and Johnson Controls. The new contracts are result of D&R's research and development of automated assembly equipment for automotive seating. JCI and Faurecia funded research work on "non-welded" seat assemblies and development of assembly modules for recliner mechanisms respectively. D&R received new orders for design, manufacture of new assembly equipment as well as modifications of existing production lines. Ecoland International closed at $1.08 on Tuesday.

Shares of NTN Buzztime

, the Carlsbad, CA social interactive entertainment company, rose 27% Tuesday on 11 times the average daily volume. There was no specific news to account for the move, but it was probably due to the overall move in social networking stocks in response to the Facebook IPO filing, scheduled for Wednesday February 1. NTN Buzztime closed at $0.28 on Tuesday.

Shares of Ur Energy

, the Littleton, CO uranium mining company, rose 20.87% Tuesday on 6 times the average daily volume. Ur Energy has risen 55% over the past month, during a rally in uranium stocks. Chinese Prime Minister, Wen Jaibao recently indicated the country's intentions to focus on nuclear energy and limit its use of coal. Ur Energy closed at $1.39 on Tuesday.
