This move came despite the company&#8217;s stock plunging after it reported its quarterly results. However, the company reported a loss of $(273) million after a profit of $68 million a year ago.

Ark Invest&#8217;s ETFs ARKF and ARKW also bought a combined total of 115,394 shares of Reddit. The transaction amounted to $5.93 million. On Wednesday, Reddit shares closed 4.05% higher at $51.40.
 The social media platform&#8217;s shares soared soon after it reported its <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/24/05/38683061/reddit-shares-soar-on-first-post-ipo-q1-results-strong-q2-guidance">first-quarter financial results</a> and gave strong Q2 guidance. Reddit&#8217;s quarterly sales were $242.963 million, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $212.83 million by 14.16%.

Ark Invest&#8217;s ETFs ARKF and ARKW sold a total of 41,964 shares of Coinbase Global Inc. The amount of shares purchased was worth $8.89 million. Coinbase shares closed 1.46% lower at $211.20 for the day.
Ark&#8217;s move was made amidst a softening Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) price, as reported by <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cryptocurrency/24/05/38720330/bitcoin-ethereum-dogecoin-continue-to-slip-analyst-says-king-crypto-network-fundamentals-i">Benzinga</a>. Trading platform Robinhood Markets Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/HOOD#NASDAQ">HOOD</a>) disclosed a first-quarter notional cryptocurrency trading volume of $36 billion, a more than three-fold increase year-over-year.  
What Happened: The surge in volumes helped boost cryptocurrency-related revenue to $126 million, up 232% year-over-year. According to the company, the cryptocurrency arm played a vital role in driving total transaction-based revenue to $329 million, up 59% over the same period last year.  
The firm reported $26 billion worth of cryptocurrencies under custody as of March 31, marking a 78% jump quarter-over-quarter.&nbsp;
The company&#8217;s cryptocurrency arm, Robinhood Crypto, allows users to trade in popular coins such as Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH), Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE), and others.
Why It Matters: The impressive numbers from Robinhood's cryptocurrency vertical come despite growing regulatory hostilities in the U.S. The firm was subpoenaed by the SEC over its cryptocurrency listings, platform operations, and security in February.

The first participant,&nbsp;Noland Arbaugh, received the implant at the&nbsp;Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. However, the company also revealed that part of the implant malfunctioned after the initial procedure. &#8220;In the weeks following the surgery, a number of&nbsp;threads&nbsp;retracted from the brain, resulting in a net decrease in the number of effective electrodes. This led to a reduction in BPS,&#8221; Neuralink stated. This development was first <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2024/05/08/neuralinks-first-in-human-brain-implant-has-experienced-a-problem-company-says-.html">highlighted</a> by CNBC. 
Despite this setback, Neuralink said that it made adjustments to the recording algorithm, improved the user interface, and worked on enhancing signal translation into cursor movements. &#8220;These refinements produced a rapid and sustained improvement in BPS, that has now superseded Noland's initial performance.&#8221;
Neuralink did not immediately respond to <a href="https://pro.benzinga.com/dashboard">Benzinga&#8217;s</a> request for comments.

Trump previously attacked Republican presidential candidate and opponent Ron DeSantis, accusing the Florida governor of wanting to cut Social Security and Medicare.
