While the joint statement, dated May 10, does not mention any specific threats or intelligence, it highlights the efforts by foreign terrorist organizations to commit or inspire violence against holiday celebrations, including Pride events or LGBTQ-related venues. This is further compounded by the current heightened threat environment in the United States and other western countries.
&#8220;We urge the public to stay vigilant and to promptly report suspicious activity to their local law enforcement,&#8221; said a DHS official, according to the report.
The alert also points out that these foreign groups and their supporters have previously promoted anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and targeted LGBTQ-related events or venues for attacks. &#8220;We continue to work with our partners to evaluate the threat environment, provide updates to the American public, and protect our homeland,&#8221; a DHS official told USA Today.

The Department of Transportation has pledged to &#8220;vigorously defend&#8221; the rule, which is intended to protect consumers from &#8220;hidden junk fees&#8221; and ensure full price transparency before ticket purchase.
The Biden administration finalized the rule last month, with Buttigieg asserting that it will save passengers over half a billion dollars a year in unnecessary or unexpected fees.

California-based Ispire Technology (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ISPR#NASDAQ">ISPR</a>), innovator in vaping technology and precision dosing, reported a $5.9 million net loss for the third fiscal quarter as the company&#8217;s losses continue to trend upwards. 
Michael Wang, Ispire's co-CEO said the company&#8217;s new business partnerships solidified during the recent quarter, which he expected would help propel Ispire into profitable territory.
&#8220;The third quarter was important for Ispire as it demonstrated our continued ability to add new strategic partners and expand within existing market sectors as we execute on our mission to be an innovator and a leader in our markets," Wang <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/ISPR">said</a>. 
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Fiscal Third Quarter 2024 Financial Results</h2>

<li>Revenue increased 24% to $30.0 million as compared to $24.1 million in the same period of 2023. Tobacco vaping products contributed $18.1 million and cannabis vaping products contributed $11.9 million to revenue during the fiscal third quarter 2024;</li>

"These partnerships will allow us to continue to expand our market share as we offer our cutting-edge products and technology globally.&#8221;
As of March 31, 2024, Ispire had approximately $39.5 million in cash and cash equivalents. As of March 31, 2024, and June 30, 2023, the company had working capital of $28.9 million and $28.8 million respectively.
&#8220;Also during the quarter, we successfully closed on a $12.3 million public offering.  This additional capital will allow us to help fund our joint venture with our partners and also ramp up our operations at our Malaysian manufacturing facility. "While crafting the statement, we elected to state neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was party to the transaction. That's a true statement. But it's misleading. It was neither the Trump Organization or the Trump campaign, it was Donald J. Trump himself."
Cohen said he doesn't regret working for the Trump Organization but has some regrets about the work he did.
"I regret doing things for him that I should not have. Lying, bullying people to effectuate the goal. I violated my moral compass and I suffered the penalty, as has my family."
Cohen said he paid $130,000 to Daniels under Trump's direction.
"To ensure that the story would not come out, would not affect Mr. Trump's chances of becoming president of the United States."
Cross-examination of Cohen by Trump's lawyers began Tuesday with questions and testimony attempting to paint the former lawyer as a liar and untrustworthy according to NBC News.
Trump's lawyers also pressed Cohen on his past admiration of the former president.
"I don't know if I would characterize the word obsessed. I admired him tremendously."
Cohen said that in 2015 when he made comments about Trump being a good person he was "knee-deep into the cult of Donald Trump."
The former Trump lawyer said he wanted to see accountability in the trial and answered "sure" if he wanted to see Trump convicted in the case.
