Singularity Group Opens Applications for New Chapters, Advancing Global Impact through Technology and Entrepreneurship

Singularity Group, an innovation company that believes technology and entrepreneurship can solve the world's greatest challenges, today announced the Company is accepting new chapter applications for 2024. The application process is open until 11:59 PM PST on July 15, 2023.

‍Singularity Chapters are volunteer communities, each led by global ambassadors, who focus on furthering Singularity's goal to leverage exponential technologies to solve humanity's grand challenges. Chapters work towards an Annual Impact Goal aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). There are currently 52 Singularity Chapters worldwide in 27 countries, across six continents.

"Chapters allow us to have a local presence in areas where we can build grassroots efforts with key constituents - governments, NGOs, academics, corporations and entrepreneurs. It is our fastest way to create global impact at scale," said Darlene Damm, Vice President of Community and Impact at Singularity Group.

Singularity Chapters inspire and enable current and future generations with access to technology and a future-forward mindset." said Anuka Roinishvili, who leads Singularity's Chapters Program.

Several chapters were recognized earlier this year for establishing impact projects that made real-world social impact, bettering their communities around the world.

These projects included:

• Developing substations to extract water from the air to address the water shortage, work that is underway at Singularity's Monterey chapter;
• An open-source augmented reality (AR) application created by their Milan chapter to improve the learning process;
• A virtual education program for Latin American youth on exponential technology and entrepreneurship created by their Buenos Aires chapter;
• Educational tools that allow youth to get hands-on with exponential technology and understand how to use it for sustainability established by their Ribeirão Preto chapter;
• A program that helps individuals understand how to use exponential technology to support a better ecological future, developed by their Warsaw chapter.
