Each DriBlades Connected™ sensor is equipped with a precise 3-axis MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical systems) device comprising an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer. This allows the device to take up to 55,000 measurements of the wearer's activity every second, generating highly accurate estimates of the device's orientation in space and the forces acting upon it.
