Misfit had its official premiere in cinemas in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Panama in October 2021. This fun comedy stars a renowned national and international cast, including: Alicia Jaziz and Gimena Gómez from Mexico;Julián Cerati and Mica Suárez from Argentina;Javi Luna from Spain;Raysa Ortiz from Peru and Giselle Torres from the States. Directed by Orlando Herrera, it features the characteristic humor present in the popular web series enchufe.tv, which consists of comedic sketches and gag humor focusing on the elements of Latin American school life.

The story is about the life of Julia (Alicia Jaziz), a Latin American teenager who has lived most of her life in the U.S. as a successful YouTuber and as part of the popular crowd. But everything changes when her family must return to their home country of Ecuador and adapt to new customs and a very different culture. New classmates, friends and a talent show with an intriguing grand prize are some of the things Julia has to face this school year.

Misfit #Eresotehaces was filmed for three weeks in Ecuador, under the direction of Orlando Herrera, renowned actor and director of dozens of sketches on enchufe.tv.
