BLOOMINGTON, Minn., Aug. 10, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- MEA Energy Association (MEA) is honored to induct Wade Farr, vice president of sales for Mainline Control Systems, and Eddie Lynch, senior natural gas utility professional for AEGIS Insurance Services, into the MEA Hall of Fame for their service to the energy industry.

Farr and Lynch were recognized at the 99th MEA Gas Operations Technical & Leadership Summit in Omaha, Neb. on Wednesday for their assistance and participation in the event over many years. Hall of Fame inductees exemplify the spirit of great leaders. These outstanding individuals have shared their time and expertise with the industry through MEA by serving on committees and volunteering at meetings and events.

Former employee of Groeber and past chair of the gas distribution committee, Farr explained that serving on the committee for 17 years gave him the opportunity to share, learn, and discuss topics that greatly affect the companies in the industry. He has exhibited and served as a speaker at many of the 32 MEA learning events he has attended.

Lynch served on the gas distribution committee for nine years and held the chair position for a time during his career at previous employer Ameren Illinois. Lynch was integral to the creation and design of MEA Construction Inspector Training. "The training was developed with learning points for all levels of experience, whether you have been in the industry one year or 30 years," he says. "Everyone can gain something from it."
