John Curry transitions from president to CEO. John Curry, a third-generation owner was named president in 2021. This move served as a catalyst for a new leadership structure including key promotions from within the organization. John will focus on the continuous development of Knutson's vision, strategy and culture, and on growing Knutson's engagement in their marketplaces and communities. John joined Knutson in 2015 after a career in professional hockey that included time with the Minnesota Wild and Pittsburgh Penguins organizations. He holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and a B.A. in economics from Boston University.

Brendan Moore is being promoted to President. Brendan will oversee day-to-day operations across all of Knutson's markets and play a key role in leading the development and execution of company strategy. Brendan's passion for operational excellence, his empowering leadership style, and his people-development focus will help ensure Knutson's success across the company. Brendan joined Knutson in 2017 and was previously vice president and general manager of Knutson's Twin Cities Metro and Iowa markets. He holds a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota, a B.S. degree in civil engineering from the University of Maine and is a licensed professional engineer (PE).

Tom Leimer is expanding his leadership role as senior vice president and general manager to include Iowa City and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Tom will continue his current leadership responsibilities for Rochester and Mankato, Minn. Tom has proven to be a passionate and successful leader, especially related to growing business in new markets, with new clients, and has done so by ensuring the consistent delivery of The Knutson Experience to our clients and partners. Tom has been with Knutson's Rochester office for more than 15 years and is active in the local Rochester community. He holds a B.S. degree in construction management from Minnesota State University, Moorhead, and is ASHE and LEED AP certified.

Scott Hughes is being promoted to vice president and general manager of the Twin Cities Metro Area market. Scott's values alignment, professional demeanor, leadership style, and strong external relationships will lead Knutson's Minneapolis office to the next phase of its success. Scott has demonstrated his skills as a strong collaborator and mentor, which are key attributes to facilitating employee growth and development in his new role. Scott joined Knutson in 2015. He holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
