Update - Media Advisory - Canada Post to pay tribute to acting legend Christopher Plummer with new stamp

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Increased indoor capacity allows media to attend

TORONTO, Oct. 12, 2021 /CNW/ - Canada Post invites you to attend a special stamp event and tribute to legendary actor Christopher Plummer at Toronto's Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre on Wednesday, October 13.

Effective Saturday, October 9, 2021, at 12:01 am, the Ontario Government changed capacity limits for event spaces. As such, the venue capacity limit for the Christopher Plummer event has marginally increased to 50 people, which still respects the need for physical distancing.

Any media interested in attending are asked to confirm their attendance.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:

The following COVID-19 protocols will be in place to maintain everyone's safety at the event.

• If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.
• Upon arrival at the Theatre, you will be required to complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire.
• Please use the Province of Ontario self-assessment tool before your arrival at https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/
• You will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, along with proof of identification, per regulations mandated by Ontario Public Health.
• We will practise physical distancing and keep a two metre (six feet) distance from others.
• Face masks or face coverings must be worn at all times, subject only to limited exceptions.
