Frank Boucher Volkswagen of Racine has a Value Your Trade tool available online to assist potential customers. The Value Your Trade tool can be completed in three easy steps.

Interested parties can begin the estimate by providing the year, make, model and trim level of the vehicle that would be traded. The driver would also need to provide the vehicle's estimated mileage. Once this is completed the customer will be prompted to move to the next page.

The following page asks the car owner to provide the overall condition of the vehicle. There are three choices available: Excellent (showroom condition), Average (normal wear and tear) and Below Average (moderate interior/exterior wear and tear). Once an option has been chosen the program will ask if there has been a single owner or multiple owners on the vehicle.
The third page on the document will prompt the individual to select any vehicle equipment or options that are available on the vehicle. For example, a vehicle may have a towing or camping package available. This step is optional so the question can be skipped if individuals are unsure.

The final page of the Value Your Trade tool will prompt the individual to fill in some personal information. The program asks for a first name, last name, zip code, email address and phone number. There is also a section where the interested party can describe the vehicle that is intended to replace the trade-in vehicle. This is optional but has space to include if the vehicle will be new or preowned, the year, make, model and additional comments. Once this has been completed the individual can receive their estimated trade-in value.
