Active Minerals International Announces the Appointment of Brad Casper as President and CEO

Dennis Parker to Serve as Senior Advisor and Board Member

Active Minerals International, LLC ("AMI") today announced that Brad Casper has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of AMI, effective December 1, 2020. Mr. Casper succeeds Dennis Parker, who served as President and Chief Executive Officer of AMI for nearly 24 years. Mr. Parker will transition into a new role as Senior Advisor to AMI focused on R&D and innovation and will continue to serve as a Board member.

Mr. Casper has a deep background in specialty minerals and mining for global industrial and energy markets. He most recently served as President of U.S. Silica Holdings, Inc. SLCA, an industrial minerals and logistics provider. Prior to that, he served as Chief Commercial Officer from 2015 to 2019, where he drove U.S. Silica's expansion and M&A strategy. Mr. Casper joined U.S. Silica in 2011 as Vice President of Strategy, where he led the over $1.3 billion acquisition and integration of six companies in specialty minerals, logistics and value-added performance materials.

Before joining U.S. Silica, Mr. Casper was at Bain & Company, Inc., where he held various positions from 2002 to May 2011 in the United States, Australia and Hong Kong, most recently serving as a Principal from July 2010 to May 2011. Mr. Casper earned a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
