Media Advisory - Governor General to Address Students of Shad Canada

OTTAWA, ON, July 10, 2020 /CNW/ - Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, will engage in a question-and-answer session with high school students enrolled in Shad Canada's newly designed online summer STEAM enrichment program. This digital session will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

Shad Canada has been running its enrichment programs since 1980, giving students in Grades 10 and 11 an opportunity to participate in a real-world design challenge that prepares them to take on social and economic challenges.

This year's program, which offers synchronous online sessions for 600 high school students, will conclude with a space flight competition with Blue Origin. For more information, visit www.shad.ca.
