National Breast and Ovarian Health Non-Profit Embarks on New Chapter with Veteran Thought Leader and Change Agent, Ginny Ehrlich

CHICAGO (PRWEB) May 12, 2020

Today, Bright Pink, a national non-profit organization focusing on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer, is proud to announce their new Chief Executive Officer.

Ginny Ehrlich, a nationally respected and accomplished non-profit leader with a breadth of experience working with multiple sectors, began her new role April 27. Leveraging her successful track record of growing national organizations, Ginny leads Bright Pink's efforts to ensure that young women have the information and resources they need to take charge of their health. Her strategic-level vision will push innovation and scale Bright Pink's digital program offerings to drive maximum impact for women. A vast background of leading high caliber staffs, reaching broad-based online audiences, and scaling programs across multiple systems, Ginny is positioned for success, especially during a time of such uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She is passionately dedicated to women's health, eager to continue and expand Bright Pink's education efforts towards early detection and prevention to women nationwide.

Bright Pink Founder Lindsay Avner stands behind such a true visionary leader with an outstanding pedigree in non-profit leadership.

"We are so thrilled to welcome Ginny to Bright Pink and know that the organization will flourish and continue to have a life-saving impact on women nationwide under her leadership, says Lindsay Avner. "The leadership change comes at a time when the organization, now in its second decade, is laying the groundwork for exponential growth in both its fundraising and programmatic reach. As organizations across the globe navigate this new social climate, we need Ginny more than ever."

Ehrlich has dedicated her more than 25-year career to ensuring that all people can live their best life stories. Most recently, Ginny served as the chief executive officer at Power to Decide, the campaign to prevent unplanned pregnancy. Prior to taking the helm at Power to Decide, Ginny directed the childhood obesity prevention portfolio at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and led the Foundation's efforts to establish a strategic direction for its $500 million investment in ensuring that all children achieve a healthy weight by 2025. Previously, Ginny spent eight years at the Clinton Foundation, where she served as the Founding CEO of the Clinton Health Matters Initiative and the long-time CEO of the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.

"I am so honored to take the helm at Bright Pink," says Ginny Ehrlich. "I am so passionate about Bright Pink's mission and work to ensure that women have the information and resources they need to take charge of their health. I am excited to build upon Bright Pink's groundbreaking history to accelerate its reach and impact on millions of young women across the country."
