Catalyst Acoustics Group (CAG), the parent company of an elite group of acoustic, seismic, vibration and noise control companies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Shahed to Vice President of our Midwest Manufacturing Campus.

Located in North Aurora, Illinois, the CAG Midwest manufacturing campus, with over 120,000 square feet of engineering and manufacturing, will execute on production of unique metal noise control products and solutions for each of the autonomous CAG brands. In this key role, Mr. Shahed will lead the manufacturing of spec driven design processes associated with the unique and reputable products within the CAG portfolio. His responsibilities include oversight of all aspects of the operation including brand specified production, manufacturing engineering, quality, continuous improvement, purchasing, and finance.

With an MBA in Operations and BS in Engineering from Purdue University, coupled with his success and now transition from leading the IAC Acoustics business, Mr. Shahed is equipped with the fundamental business skills and experience necessary to lead our CAG Midwest manufacturing facility.
