PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif., Feb. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Trevor Nelson of Newmontis Real Estate Investment Banking was awarded the 2019 Deal of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal for the off-market acquisition of the Lantana creative office campus in Santa Monica for $321 million.

Working together with Travis Landrum of Industry Partners, the property was purchased from Artisan Realty Advisors via an unsolicited offer. "We had the privilege of working with a really sophisticated team of people on all sides. Even though the purchase was incredibly complex, we were able to find solutions to every roadblock because of the caliber of the people involved," said Nelson. "Obviously it is a great honor to be acknowledged by the LABJ; it's a tribute to everyone that worked on [the Lantana]".

Also in 2019, Nelson's sale of a creative office building in Bel Air and a historic mixed-use redevelopment in Glendale set local records for price per foot and total sales price respectively for their areas.

Located in the Pacific Palisades, Newmontis Real Estate Investment Banking is a full-service commercial real estate investment advisory and management firm. Primarily servicing high-net-worth investors, family offices and private investment funds, Newmontis offers transactional advisory, asset management, and syndication opportunities through its investment strategies.
