PiQuant Receives a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Grant, the Grand Challenges Explorations Program

SEOUL, South Korea, Feb. 19, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- PiQuant has been selected as a grantee for the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) challenge of the Grand Challenges Explorations (GCE) program operated by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

PiQuant is a company that develops components detection solutions based on spectroscopy. PiQuant's technology analyzes water contamination by interpreting the inherent light reflectance that all material posses, and enables immediate confirmation of its safety and whether it can be consumed or not.

PiQuant's unique technology has been recognized as a technology that can contribute to the enhancement of drinking water safety in developing countries after a year of review of its technicality and commercialization potential by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
