Primary Growth Partners Announces Unique Cannabis Investment Vehicle

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 15, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Primary Growth Partners (PGP), a premier advisory group focused on the California cannabis industry, has announced a new, unique cannabis investment vehicle, First Look Limited Membership. The creation of this new and unique investment vehicle comes from PGP's experience of carefully studying the process between investors and cannabis companies over the last year.

PGP will accept up to 12 qualified investors (funds, family offices, or individual investors) as its initial members to receive a first look at direct investment opportunities in all PGP clients' cannabis company's equity or debt offerings. The investment opportunities will fund growth initiatives for PGP's client's cannabis companies. Additionally, PGP will not earn transaction or management fees in the process – allowing more capital to go to work for both the investors and the companies.

"We often see cannabis company owners and investors wanting similar things but speaking different languages," said Michael Apstein, Primary Growth Partners' Principal Founding Partner. "We're trying to translate, and also bring more efficiency and successful outcomes to the process. The First Look Limited Membership will operate as a group of stakeholders with aligned interests, rather than a fund. We invite qualified investors to inquire."

Using an industry leading approach to evaluate their clients across 40 different business stress points during the onboarding process, PGP recognized its ability to deliver a "scrubbed deal" to investors. Coupled with the risk mitigation of having PGP onboard as an experienced operating partner, as well as a consistent source of California based cannabis deal flow, these investment benefits led to the creation and introduction of PGP's First Look Limited Membership.

Unlike cannabis investment funds, which have sprouted faster than the possible number of good investment opportunities, PGP has focused on the building blocks for success in the nascent cannabis space. Delivering comprehensive strategy, high level branding, multi-channel marketing, operational efficiency, and legal compliance, PGP has de-risked execution for a select number of cannabis companies by fulfilling these mission critical roles with deep expertise.
