TORONTO, Nov. 20, 2019 /CNW/ - More than 18,000 lawsuits have been filed in the United States against the makers of Roundup, alleging that its active ingredient glyphosate causes various forms of cancer. These lawsuits have resulted in awarded damages exceeding two billion dollars.
Diamond and Diamond Lawyers will be spearheading Canada's largest class action lawsuit against Bayer, Monsanto and other named defendants. The Plaintiff class currently exceeds 60 individuals, though thousands may have been affected.
