DETROIT, Oct. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Author M. Tyrone Cushman is a graduate of Wayne State University and the recipient of an honorary doctorate of divinity from Southern California School of Ministry. He is a firm believer that God, Jehovah-Elohim, is the God of the big tent and the mixed multitude. "By that I mean, God by His very nature, includes those who have practices, beliefs, or names of Him that differ."

In Cushman's book, "Could God Be This Good?: The Best News You Have Ever Heard In Your Life" (published by WestBow Press in April 2014), he aims to help readers see the simplicity of God's strategy to save the world.

Throughout his book, Cushman describes the many ways in which he sees God winning the will and hearts of humankind while satisfying the requirements of justice. He teaches that absolutely nothing trumps God. Neither Satan, nor sin, nor ignorance, nor religion, nor race, nor culture, nor nationality, nor family mess can defeat God's plan to save all his people.

The book dares to offer across-the-board, "common denominator" solutions to the problem of universal reconciliation between God and humankind. This common denominator transcends religion, race and nationality. Cushman says, "It bridges the theological extremes in the debate between 'Inclusionists' and 'Exclusionists'."

Cushman passionately declares, "My primary premise is that God did not create a broad heterogeneous range of people of different colors, cultures, and histories and then limit His choice for those who will find their own way through the maze of human conditions, and religions and receive His eternal favor — to a narrow homogenous sliver of humanity."
