ROCK HILL, S.C., July 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In 2009, a startup software company, SPAN Enterprises, was established in Rock Hill, SC by two local entrepreneurs, Agie Sundaram and Naga Palanisamy, bringing highly innovative ideas to the area. Within their first year, they released three software products from their original Shiland Villages location.

SPAN's first office stood on the corner of India Hook Road & Celanese Road in Rock Hill, SC. As the company quickly expanded, it needed space to grow, so, in 2013, the company moved to the Citizen's building in downtown Rock Hill. By 2015, it was ready for the larger space available at 202 East Main. Today, SPAN Enterprises stands as a dominant force, serving over half a million clients across a variety of industries, ranging from IRS e-filing technology, to transportation software, to business management solutions.

Approaching its 10 year anniversary, SPAN Enterprises is proud to announce its move back home to Celanese Road. Next year, 2685 Celanese Rd will be SPAN Enterprises' new headquarters. The Warren Norman property standing behind SPAN's original office space will soon see much different use than it had with prior occupants (Food Lion, Omni Gym). "We are excited about going back to the same parking lot where we started, in an office with a mere 100 square feet, to a space with over 12,000 square feet now" says Agie Sundaram, Co-Founder and CEO.

The Warren Norman Company and SPAN Enterprises have a history going back to SPAN's beginning. Warren, David, and Ralph Norman were quick to recognize SPAN's potential, even at a time when many establishments were skeptical about a software company launching in a small South Carolina town. Warren Norman remarked, "It was clear to us from the get-go that Agie and Naga were going to be a success, so their growth comes as no surprise. Any time someone moves into one of our locations, we are essentially investing in that business. We were happy to do so with Span Enterprises when they started, and are equally excited about their move back to Shiland Hills Shopping Center where they began. We look forward to rekindling our relationship and watching Span Enterprise's continued success, and are honored to be a partner with them."

Senior advisor to the Warren Norman Company is the family patriarch, Congressman Ralph Norman. In the Congressman's words, "SPAN Enterprises is a true success story built on hard work, dedication to service, and providing value to their customers. Agie and Naga are to be commended for their leadership and willingness to take a risk, which is paramount in starting a new business. Congratulations to a company which epitomizes the American Dream."

SPAN Enterprises will also be collaborating with Warren Norman to benefit Miracle Park in Rock Hill. This unique development will be the country's first park built and designed specifically for people with developmental disabilities to play and work. SPAN Enterprises will be providing a mobile app for the park's visitors to utilize. Naga Palanisamy, Co-Founder and President of SPAN Enterprises announced: "We are excited to put our vast experience to work for Miracle Park in this way. Our team's history of building dozens of world class mobile apps will be a great benefit to Rock Hill's Miracle Park."

Despite a lack of state or local incentive programs, SPAN Enterprises has managed to flourish as a software company in South Carolina during its 10 year history. This success is due in large part to the solid network of business partners it has made. Comporium's "Zipstream" gigabit internet service has been a solid, reliable connection to the world, allowing SPAN to compete on a global scale . SPAN offers excellent health coverage to all of its employees through Sandy Newton and Insurance Brokers Exchange, who have been instrumental in providing expertise. Other benefit programs at SPAN include a 401(k) through Adam Ackerman at BNA Wealth. Jason Ackerman with BNA CPA has also been invaluable in providing SPAN with excellent advice and accounting services. Jay Rinehart has been a friend of SPAN for years, and has helped to provide wise counsel whenever necessary, along with Bev Carroll and her exemplary knowledge of employment law.

"As season ticket holders for the Carolina Panthers, we are so excited to be moving to a new location in Rock Hill at the same time that the Panthers are coming to Rock Hill" says Agie Sundaram. "There's a lot more to come. We will soon be celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary, so stay tuned for more information."

SPAN Enterprises' future points only to expansive growth, as evidenced by recent products PayWow (web-based payroll), TaxBandits (W2, 1099, IRS form e-filing), and TaxLogics (large-scale e-filing). With more developments on the horizon, SPAN's history of shaking up the market is sure to continue. SPAN would like to recognize that all of its success with products like UnitWise, ExpressTruckTax, TruckLogics, TSNAmerica, ExpressIFTA, TaxBandits, TaxLogics, ACAwise, ExpressExtension, and PayWow has been made possible thanks to its loyal client base throughout the world.
