NEW GLASGOW, NS, May 13, 2019 /CNW/ - Crombie Real Estate Investment Trust ("Crombie") CRR is pleased to announce that each of the nominees proposed for election at the general meeting of unitholders held on May 9, 2019 were elected. The vote was conducted by show of hands without a ballot. In compliance with TSX rules, following are the detailed proxy tabulations for the appointment of Trustees, with over 99% of the votes at the meeting being represented by proxy.

Crombie REIT Appoints Board of Trustees Chair

With the retirement of Frank Sobey, Chair of Crombie since its 2006 initial public offering, the Board of Trustees has appointed Michael Knowlton, CPA, CA, ICD.D, as Chair of Crombie REIT. Michael Knowlton has 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, including serving as President of Dundee REIT for 5 years. He currently serves as a director of Tricon Capital Group Inc. and trustee of Dream Industrial REIT. A trustee of Crombie REIT since 2011, Mr. Knowlton has been Chair of Crombie's Audit Committee since 2014.
