SkyCap Financial Looks Forward to Supporting the 2018 Holiday Toy Drive

KINGSTON, ON, Nov. 8, 2018 /CNW/ - This December, thousands of children throughout the Kingston region will have a reason to celebrate as SkyCap Financial continues its partnership and support of the Salvation Army, helping the organization conduct its 2018 Holiday Toy Drive.  Each year, the Salvation Army Holiday Toy Drive helps over 3,000 families in the Kingston area enjoy a brighter Holiday Season.

Since 2013, the SkyCap Financial team has taken pride in giving back to the local community by partnering with charities to help less fortunate families celebrate and enjoy the Christmas experience.  Once again, staff from SkyCap Financial will enjoy filling their shopping carts with toys before donating them to the Kingston Salvation Army, where they will be distributed to local families.

This year, SkyCap Financial is extending its charitable efforts by donating staff time and volunteers to help with the distribution and operations of the Salvation Army Toy Drive.  The company is hopeful that its leadership will help increase community participation, yielding more toy donations than ever before.  

SkyCap Financial invites community members to make the holidays brighter for the boys and girls of Kingston by joining the Salvation Army Toy Drive.  There are many ways to help, such as coordinating a personalized or general toy drive at work or among family, friends and colleagues.  Monetary donations can also be made online through the Salvation Army's website at salvationarmy.ca/donations/.

In addition to its partnership with the Salvation Army, SkyCap Financial has taken part in and sponsored other charitable events throughout the year, including the Ride to Conquer Cancer, the Ovarian Cancer Walk and the Walk for ALS.
