Interjet Celebrates Two Years of Service Between Los Angeles and Cancun

Los Angeles and Cancun have become major hubs for Interjet with over 142 thousand passengers transported between the two destinations in just 24 months.

Interjet Airlines announced today it had flown more than 142 thousand passengers between Los Angeles International Airport and Cancun International Airport, located in Quintana Roo, on the Caribbean coast of Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula. It is Mexico's second busiest airport, after Mexico City International Airport.

"Los Angeles and Cancun have become significant business and leisure travel markets for Interjet," said Julio Gamero, Interjet's Chief Commercial Officer. Interjet operates Airbus A320 aircraft seating 150 passengers between Los Angeles and Cancun. Round trip fares start at $190.00 taxes included with special promotional fares offered periodically throughout the year. These promotional fares are not available to groups nor can they be used with other promotional fares.
