Innovative Mattress Solutions names Kristin Micalizio Chief Marketing Officer

New CMO brings extensive multi-channel marketing experience

Lexington, Kentucky-based mattress retailer Innovative Mattress Solutions (iMS) has named Kristin Micalizio the company's Chief Marketing Officer. Ms. Micalizio will report to Kim Knopf the CEO of iMS.

"Kristin is a versatile marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience leading multi-channel businesses in a variety of industries. I am thrilled to have her lead our marketing and strategy efforts with a focus on enhancing the company's omni-channel marketing approach," said Kim Knopf.

Ms. Micalizio comes to iMS from Academic Partnerships of Dallas, Texas, a leading online program management company serving public universities, where she served as the Vice President of Marketing. Previous to that, she served as Vice President of Marketing and Merchandising for Galls LLC, a law enforcement apparel and equipment distributor. She also spent 18 years with Office Depot, where she gained extensive retail, eCommerce, digital, and traditional marketing experience as the Vice President and General Manager over the $1B+ direct sales business unit, which included oversight for http://www.officedepot.com. She also held key executive leadership roles in the areas of Finance, Supply Chain, Strategy and as the GM for the Office Depot's copy and print business.
