Nate's Food Co. Announces Completion of Initial Testing

Nate's Foods Co, Inc. CRRA announced today it has completed its initial testing of the pancake and waffle batter. With the completion of the testing, the Company has begun to launch the product and expects to begin selling product in the next 4-6 weeks with deliveries beginning at the end of October 2014.

Based on the lab testing, the Company will initially roll out with a refrigerated product and will continue development on the shelf stable product. Both products represent unique consumer categories and market share, and the company is confident pursuing both products concurrently.

The refrigerated product aims to capture families and single working parents who want a hot, delicious and convenient breakfast for their kids 7 days a week. As a ready to cook pancake and waffle batter, Nate's Pancakes are strategically positioned as a fast alternative to traditional dry mixes, delivering homemade pancakes in 5 minutes. Having the product refrigerated allows the pressured gas to aerate the batter and provides for a fluffier product that will also fill the room with a great smell while baking. Testing shows that the refrigerator is opened significantly more often than a pantry. Additionally, people tend to believe a refrigerated product is fresher than a non-refrigerated product. The Company believes based on its testing and previous experience in the area that a refrigerated product will be easier to market as a fresh alternative to current pancake and waffle mixes.

The shelf stable products will marketed to outdoor enthusiasts and campers. The shelf stable product is an alternative to the bulky pancake mixes that are required to be mixed with water. The shelf stable product will be the essentially the same product as our refrigerated product but specifically designed to not require refrigeration. Over 42 million people camp each year and spend an average of 12 days camping or over 500 million total days camped.

By segmenting the product line, the Company will be able to create 2 SKU's instead of just a single product.
