Elite Private Tutors brings together five major female entrepreneurs in Houston to showcase the importance of students finding their passion early.

Houston, Texas (PRWEB) February 28, 2014

Elite Private Tutors, in conjunction with two Rice University organizations, Rice Launch and Women LEAD, will hold an event aimed at furthering the careers of women from 4:30-6:30pm on Saturday, March 22nd, at Rice University. This event, entitled “The Unconventional Career Path: What Rice Women Need to Know Beyond the Hedges,” will showcase six prominent female entrepreneurs in the city of Houston.

This event was inspired by Neha Gupta, CEO of Elite Private Tutors and alumni of Rice University, and Isabel Scher, Co-founder of Rice Launch; Rice's student entrepreneurial group on campus. After meeting at a previous Rice Launch event, Gupta and Scher wanted to collaborate for an event to empower Rice women to follow their passions, take risks, build their brand, and learn to create a network of mentors.

Neha Gupta, along with leading female entrepreneurs Monica Pope, the founder of Sparrow Restaurant, Reva Azeez, partner and financial advisor at ROA2 Partners, Kristina Carillo-Bucaram, founder of Rawfully Organic, Karen McDonell founder and owner of the McDonell group, and Joanna Nathan, Founder of Enventure, will impart their knowledge and experiences to the next generation of female leaders at Rice University and throughout the city of Houston.

“Mentorship is the core value of my business. I believe that it is our duty to help young students to find their path early and to follow their passion.” says Neha Gupta, CEO of Elite Private Tutors.

The event will invite Rice University students as well members of the Houston community. In addition, news and media outlets are also invited to attend to cover the event. Elite Private Tutors is the only tutoring company in Houston that holds an event focusing on furthering the careers of our future female leaders.
