Babson Capital Management Launches New Open-End Mutual Funds

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Babson Capital Management, a leading global investment management firm with over $192 billion in assets under management, has launched two new open-end mutual funds: Babson Global Floating Rate Fund and Babson Global Credit Income Opportunities Fund. The Babson Global Floating Rate Fund will seek to invest primarily in senior-secured loans from below-investment-grade companies that are domiciled in North America and developed European countries, and the Babson Global Credit Income Opportunities Fund will utilize an unconstrained investment strategy and seek returns across a multitude of higher yielding fixed income and alternative investments. To mitigate volatility, the fund's portfolio managers will focus on comprehensive fundamental research in selecting securities for the portfolio. Babson Capital plans to distribute its new open-end funds through Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) custodial platforms, wirehouses, and independent and regional broker dealers.
