Industry veteran joins an expanding management team at award winning firm. Tracy Denny, an experienced executive with expertise in growing management consulting and IT businesses in the federal government market, has joined Octo Consulting Group as Vice President of Business Development.

Octo Consulting Group, an award-winning provider of mission critical technology and management consulting solutions to the Federal marketplace, has named Tracy Denny Vice President of Business Development. In the newly created role, Denny will be responsible for establishing and leading all aspects of the firm's business development function to include business development personnel oversight, capture and proposal management functions, and leading strategies to achieve the firm's strategic growth objectives. Denny will report directly to Octo Consulting Group's President & CEO, Mehul Sanghani.

Prior to joining Octo, Denny led business development organizations as both a consulting partner and corporate executive in key leadership roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, International Business Machines (IBM), Serco, and STG International. Denny has over 20 years of experience working with clients in federal, state and local government, healthcare, higher education, and private sector markets in both the Unites States and Canada.

Currently, Denny is a member of the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) in the National Capital Area, the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC), and the American Council for Technology (ACT) – Industry Advisory Council (IAC). Denny earned his Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from St. Louis University and a B.S. degree in Computing and Information Sciences from Oklahoma State University. Denny is also an Advisory Board member for the Northern Virginia Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and has served as a volunteer chairman for non-profit organization fundraising campaigns and events throughout metropolitan DC.
