MEMC Changes Company Name To SunEdison

ST. PETERS, Mo., May 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SunEdison, Inc. WFR, today announced that after obtaining overwhelming stockholder approval at its Annual Meeting of Stockholders, held earlier today in San Francisco, California, the process of changing the company's name to SunEdison, Inc., from MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc., has been completed. On June 3, 2013, the company's stock symbol on the New York Stock Exchange will change from "WFR" to "SUNE" to reflect the new corporate name.
