Quan H. Pham, a Vice President of Sales in Vietnam, has a career defined by countless impressive achievements. His deep understanding of international trade and his focus on innovation has set him up as a major leader in the world of sales.

Quan's impressive career started during his college years, during which he took on several sales roles across various industries. During this time, he developed a curiosity for marketing and sales strategies – a curiosity that took him further with his education. After graduation, he pursued a postgraduate degree program in Australia, where he focused on Supply Chain Management and Logistics.

After his graduation, Quan returned to Vietnam to test and apply his skills there. He accepted a position at Goldsun Vietnam, a leading company in manufacturing and exporting. In this role, he managed OEM/ODM projects for several international clients using his relationship-building skills.

Quan has an exceptional ability to bridge cultural gaps with others no matter their background, and this skill has helped him listen and truly connect with clients and land deals, unlike many others in his position. These successes quickly made him a face of leadership at the company.

Over the years, Quan has earned experience in several industries, including homeware, footwear, fashion, and luxury accessories. Each sector has given him unique learning opportunities, teaching him to handle complex challenges.

He has brought this versatility to his position in sales leadership, as he has taught his team about personalizing strategies for every client. He also encourages his teams to continue learning at all times, as only by learning can you stay ahead of the competition.

Of his many achievements, one of Quan's biggest as VP of Sales was successfully bridging the gap between the internal factory team and international clients. This was not an easy feat requiring a lot of communication and trust-building on his end. By accomplishing this, he was able to streamline operations and build several long-term partnerships for his company, helping them grow further in the international trading arena. Since then, his company has grown greatly and developed an even stronger reputation in the global market.

"While my international school gave me the tools to do my job, my success is largely due to my multicultural upbringing. Experiencing many different cultures allows me to adapt to the ever-changing business landscape." He believes that to meet clients’ diverse needs, teams must be flexible and insightful, truly trying to understand each individual. Quan says businesses can only succeed through continuous learning and open communication with clients and within the team.

In the future, Quan hopes that the sales industry will focus more on geopolitical and ecological awareness. He also recommends that those seeking leadership positions in sales seek diverse perspectives and approaches to problem-solving, as making informed decisions is crucial in any role.

From a part-time sales rep to a VP of Sales, Quan's journey is only beginning. "There is much more to achieve and I am ready."
