With over $113 billion in assets under management, Voya Investment Management chose SS&C to automate its performance measurement processes over a decade ago.  Today, Voya has four operational centers running on the Anova platform, fed from regional investment accounting engines to deliver consolidated investment performance measurement and analysis across the organization. In 2015, Voya migrated from on-premise to a cloud-based deployment. The move has helped Voya reduce operational costs and to focus resources on providing the value added analysis and enhanced reporting that clients increasingly demand.

"Anova is an important component of our global performance data platform, which is designed to collect millions of data points and deliver them to the end-user as easy-to-analyze, actionable information," said Matsikas. "We're looking forward to discussing our experience moving to the cloud with others considering a similar initiative and why we elected to stay with SS&C."

During the hour-long session, Matsikas will provide a brief overview of how Voya uses the power of Anova Performance to automate their global investment performance measurement and will answer questions from the audience. He will detail Voya's decision to move from in-house to cloud-hosting and discuss the challenges and benefits.  Additionally, Matsikas will highlight how a solution like Anova with data management capabilities can ensure data quality for performance reporting and reduce operational risk.

"We are honored to have this prominent industry leader at SS&C Deliver and look forward to the insights and lessons learned that John will share with attendees," said Christy Bremner, Senior Vice President, Institutional and Investment Management. "Many of our clients tell us they are looking for ways to focus on what they do best. As a result, we are seeing a trend towards outsourcing of investment accounting and operations. Clients such as Voya have achieved cost reduction and operational efficiencies by outsourcing data management tasks associated with performance workflow and shifting their deployments to the cloud."
