Maine's Largest City Selects Tyler Technologies' Solutions

Tyler Technologies, Inc. TYL has signed an agreement with the city of Portland, Maine, for Tyler's Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution and EnerGov™ permitting, licensing and regulatory suite.

The city had been using a legacy ERP system for more than 20 years, but the older technology they were using required the city to either upgrade or seek out a new vendor. The city ultimately decided on Tyler's Munis and EnerGov solutions due to the company's experience, singular focus on local government, and its ability to deliver state-of-the-art software solutions to help the city better serve its employees, residents and vendors.

Munis will provide the city with one, fully integrated solution for financial, payroll, human resources, revenue, and permitting and code enforcement needs. The city also purchased EnerGov, which includes its citizen access portal, e-reviews, workforce mobile, and permits and inspections software. Munis and EnerGov will meet the city's needs for an up-to-date, complete ERP solution to effectively automate and manage its business processes.

Tyler's Yarmouth, Maine, office, which houses its ERP & School Division headquarters, is about 12 miles north of Portland.

Portland is the largest city in Maine, with roughly 67,000 residents. The Greater Portland metropolitan area is home to over half a million people, more than one-third of Maine's total population. The city of Portland also uses Tyler's iasWorld CAMA^™ computer-assisted mass appraisal software.
