Markel names Scott Culler to new Senior Managing Director role

RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Markel Corporation MKL announced today that Scott Culler has been named Senior Managing Director on the Product Line Leadership team. In his new role, Culler will oversee the following product lines: architects and engineers, agents and brokers, lawyers, miscellaneous errors and omissions, DataBreach^SM (cyber liability), and information technology.

Most recently Culler served as Regional President for the West Region in Markel's Wholesale division. He joined Markel in 2000 and previously served as a Regional Director focused on professional liability and casualty business in Markel's Deerfield, Illinois, office.

Culler is a member of the NAPSLO board of directors and now reports to Russo.
