The Stars Align For Turner And 'Star Wars'

Turner does it again. The broadcasting company, which owns TNT and TBS, struck a deal with Walt Disney Co DIS for rights to show a total of 10 "Star Wars" movies. Movies include three to-be-released films, five of the six past films, the recent "Star Wars: The Force Awakes," which just debuted last year, and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," which will debut this upcoming December.

The agreement marks Turner’s second major movie deal with Disney. In 2014, Turner secured rights to air five movies produced by Marvel, a subsidiary of Disney.
