CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Automated-X, Inc. (OTC Pink: AUTX), a developer and integrator of next generation automation technologies, today announced the development of a new user interface for QUICKflick that will be deployed in the second quarter of 2015.

Automated-X subsidiary QUICKflick is growing their position in the post-theatrical entertainment space, establishing a solid developmental platform for diversifying into other retail business environments.

Beyond the updated visual design, the new interface is part of a larger interactive redesign that will occur throughout 2015 and will improve the way customers can interact and communicate with QUICKflick.

"As each customer is unique and interacts with the kiosk in a different and distinct way, we continue to identify key features that will optimize each customer's specific needs at the kiosk, while still providing ease of use and allowing for customers to make informed purchase decisions. Frequent, occasional, and first-time users desire unique communication methods, both in- and out-of-store, as well as a different experience at the kiosk. With this redesign, we aim to provide a natural experience for the consumer, while integrating new features that will continue to provide greater value and simplify the experience," commented John White, VP – Operations, QUICKflick and Automated-X.

This will be the first of many new features that will be tested in various markets throughout the year, including memberships, additional promotional functionality, tiered-pricing structures, in-store cross-promotional opportunities, and other consumer and retailer-focused features, all of which will improve the consumer experience.

"The effort that we are putting into this interactive redesign continues to lay the framework for Automated-X as we focus on our growth strategy and look beyond the entertainment kiosk space," commented Tim Regnier, President and COO.
