Looking for the next fantasy adventure must-read? Then “Chronicles of Dilos Vol. 1: Children of Destiny” (Stratton Press; 2021) by Gary Haverland should be a delight to read.

Readers will find “Chronicles of Dilos Vol. 1: Children of Destiny” packed with magic, prophecy, war, and intrigue, as well as a little bit of romance. The story takes place in a medieval world of legend and magic, in the village of Dillosia in the land of Dilos. Dilos had known war for many years, and though it is currently at peace, a threat of war looms, with an ancient evil that will reemerge from history and legend.

Twin brothers Shadon and Madra, rejected in their youth by their peers for being different from the norm, are found to be the recipients of prophecy. In their teen years, a wizard undertakes the task of educating and training them and a childhood friend, Bo, in preparation for what is to come. They must learn quickly to become more than warriors to lead the diverse cultures in saving not only Dillosia, but the whole Dilos from a dark warlord and his evil sorcerer. Swords and magic are not the only weapons wielded in this conflict, nor are mortal life and freedom the only prizes to be won or lost.

How will the twin brothers of the prophecy and their friend square off against an ancient evil from the past? Read all about it in “Chronicles of Dilos Vol. 1: Children of Destiny” by G. D. Haverland. Order a copy today on Amazon.
