PolyOne Board Elects Dr. Patricia Verduin as Director

CLEVELAND, March 6, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- PolyOne Corporation POL, a leading global provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions, announced that its Board of Directors has elected Dr. Patricia Verduin as an independent director effective today. 

Dr. Verduin, 59, is Chief Technology Officer at Colgate-Palmolive Company, where she is responsible for the development of innovative new products and solutions, as well as product safety, quality, regulatory and product sustainability.  She joined the company in 2007 as Vice President of Global Research & Development for the Oral Care, Personal Care and Home Care product categories.  She previously served in several leadership and scientific roles with ConAgra Foods and Nabisco.  She also served on the Board of Directors at Monsanto.

Dr. Verduin received a bachelor's degree in Food Science from the University of Delaware, an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a PhD in Food Chemistry from Rutgers University.
