HARRISBURG, Pa., Jan. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Centric Bank has promoted Christopher J. Bickel to Senior Vice President, Market Leader Main Line where he will lead the commercial lending team at the bank's new Devon, Pennsylvania location, announces Patricia (Patti) A. Husic, President & CEO of Centric Bank and Centric Financial Corporation CFCX.

The office is located at 80 W. Lancaster Avenue and neighbors the Devon Horse Show. The full suite will be open in mid-April, and the financial center across the street at 105 Lancaster Avenue is slated for a September 2019 opening. "We are a team of seven currently and are hiring locally. We live our mission of We Revolve Around You and are proud of the small businesses we finance," says Bickel. The Bucks County lending office, in Doylestown, will also be converted to a financial center during 2019.

Born and raised in Berwyn, Pa., Bickel is a graduate of Syracuse University and a two-time Syracuse Orange men's lacrosse national champion. He began his banking career with Commerce of New Jersey and brings over 16 years of experience in the banking industry specializing in commercial lending, commercial real estate, and new business development.

Previously, Bickel served as Centric Bank's Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer, where he focused on commercial real estate loans and lines of credit in the Dauphin and Cumberland County markets.

Before joining Centric Bank, Chris was Vice President of Commercial Lending at Metro Bank.

Passionate about youth athletics and the benefits of team sports, Chris coached lacrosse for Central Dauphin schools, as well as tee ball. When he's not on a field, he enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, snowboarding, surfing, and family time.
