PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Aberdeen Total Dynamic Dividend Fund (NYSE: AOD) (the "Fund"), announced that it has postponed its 2018 annual meeting of shareholders (the "Annual Meeting"), which was scheduled to be held on October 18, 2018, to allow shareholders a longer period of time to consider the matters to be presented and allow for greater shareholder participation.

The rescheduled Annual Meeting will be held on October 31, 2018, at Aberdeen Asset Management Inc. located at 1735 Market Street, 32^nd Floor, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19103. The Annual Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. (Eastern time).

The purpose of the Annual Meeting is to consider and act upon the following proposals, and to consider and act upon such other matters as may properly come before the Annual Meeting or any adjournments or postponements thereof:

1. To elect one Class I Trustee to serve for a three-year term.
2. A shareholder  proposal  that  the  Board  take  the  necessary steps  to  declassify the Board of Trustees of the Fund so that all Trustees are elected on an annual basis.
