Recall Only Affects Select North Carolina and Virginia Stores

Food Lion is voluntarily recalling its 13 oz. Food Lion Swiss Rolls with UPC number 3582609277 due to the potential presence of Salmonella in an ingredient, whey powder.

While there have been no reports of illnesses to date, the product is being recalled as a precautionary measure after the manufacturer of the product indicated the potential risk.

Food Lion has removed all affected product from its shelves and urges customers to return the product to their local store for a full refund. Only select stores in North Carolina and Virginia are affected. Customers may also contact Food Lion's Customer Support Center at 1-800-210-9569.
