TORONTO, March 29, 2018 /CNW/ - Evolve Funds Group Inc. ("Evolve") announces final annual capital gains distributions for the Evolve Active US Core Equity ETF for the 2017 tax year.

These amounts are for the year-end capital gains distributions only, which were re-invested and the resulting units immediately consolidated, so that the number of units held by each investor did not change. The annual capital gains distributions do not include the ongoing monthly or quarterly distribution amounts, which were reported in a separate press release.

The ex-dividend date for the 2017 annual distributions was December 28, 2017. The record date for the 2017 annual distributions was December 29, 2017 and payable on January 9, 2018. The actual taxable amounts of reinvested capital gains distributions for 2017 including the tax characteristics of the distributions, was reported to brokers (through CDS Clearing and Depository Services Inc. or "CDS") in early 2018.

For the tax year 2017, the fund is reporting as a Deemed Financial Institution; therefore, it is required to recognize all unrealized gains as income for the period ending December 31, 2017.
