Arrow's Connectivity Services Offers Global Distributor's Bulk Data Rates to Customers Provisioning IoT Projects

Arrow Electronics, Inc. ARW launched a new data-connectivity billing service to help reduce the complexity around building and maintaining internet of things (IoT) projects. Arrow customers can now provision everything required to design a smart, connected solution—from hardware to software to connectivity—all from one central location and on one, single bill.

With Arrow's Connectivity Services, customers can purchase data connectivity (cellular, LPWAN, etc.) directly from Arrow, along with all of their other IoT needs, from sensors to software. This is another step Arrow is taking to reduce the complexity of the IoT product-development cycle and help customers get to market quickly and cost effectively.

"Arrow is uniquely positioned to remove pain points from the complicated IoT-development cycle," said Aiden Mitchell, vice president of global IoT solutions at Arrow. "Value-added offerings like Arrow's Connectivity Services help our customers monitor, manage and support IoT connected assets and devices, even when deployed globally."

Arrow customers currently have access to AT&T and Vodafone through Arrow's Connectivity Services, and Arrow plans to extend the service to additional carriers, globally, moving forward. Additionally, Arrow customers have access to a complete development ecosystem, including test SIMs, to help jumpstart their product development. Arrow collaborated with CSG Systems International to build Arrow's Connectivity Services platform.

"Arrow's Connectivity Services allows our team to focus on its core strengths of developing and deploying innovative business solutions that our clients have come to rely on and expect from McKinley," said Kevin Rusin, chief financial officer at McKinley Corporations. "In addition to all the technology components from sensor to cloud, Arrow continues to build out value-added service offers like this that removes the burden of managing multiple relationships and helps us streamline our operations leading to cost savings and faster time to market."

Arrow made the announcement today at Mobile World Congress Americas where the global technology-solutions provider is exhibiting its comprehensive "sensor-to-sunset" IoT offerings. Arrow serves as an IoT solutions aggregator, helping customers that are creating connected and intelligent solutions accelerate their time to market. With a complete technology stack—from sensor to cloud, along with expert professional and managed services, Arrow helps over 125,000 customers around the world—large enterprises and small startups alike—design and build products, scale efficiently and cost-effectively, and get to market fast.
