Analysts expect Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) to earn $2.65 per share on revenue of $54.50 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings after the markets close. Microsoft shares rose 0.5% to $330.98 in after-hours trading.
TrueBlue, Inc. (NYSE:TBI) posted weaker-than-expected results for its third quarter. TrueBlue shares dipped 19.5% to $11.00 in the after-hours trading session.

Before the markets open, Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) is projected to report quarterly earnings at $1.18 per share on revenue of $33.25 billion. Verizon shares fell 0.3% to $31.30 in after-hours trading.
