Kopin Registers 23% Revenue Growth In Q3 Backed By Defense, Consumer Businesses

Kopin Corp KOPN reported third-quarter FY22 revenue growth of 23% year-on-year to $13.4 million, beating the consensus of $12.1 million.
Revenues from Defense Applications grew by 115% Y/Y to $7.5 million, while Industrial Applications decreased by 37% Y/Y to $1.7 million.
Product revenues grew 50.2% Y/Y to $9.9 million, while R&D revenues fell 19% Y/Y to $3.5 million.
EPS loss of $(0.05) missed the consensus loss of $(0.04).
The company held $15 million in cash and equivalents.
"We had a good quarter with revenues up 23% over the third quarter of last year, driven by growth in our defense and consumer businesses," said Michael Murray, Kopin's CEO.
Price Action: KOPN shares traded higher by 1.85% at $1.10 on the last check Tuesday.
