Verizon, Twitter And 3 Stocks To Watch Heading Into Friday

With US stock futures trading lower this morning on Friday ahead of earnings reports from several big companies, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects Verizon Communications Inc. VZ to report quarterly earnings at $1.32 per share on revenue of $33.77 billion before the opening bell. Verizon shares rose 0.1% to $47.70 in after-hours trading.
  • Snap Inc. SNAP posted weaker-than-expected results for its second quarter. The company announced it would not provide third-quarter guidance. Snap shares dipped 26% to $12.10 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Twitter, Inc. TWTR to have earned $0.14 per share on revenue of $1.32 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Twitter shares fell 1.6% to $38.88 in after-hours trading.

  • Seagate Technology Holdings plc STX posted weaker-than-expected results for its fourth quarter and issued weak forecast for the current quarter. Seagate shares dropped 9.6% to $75.62 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect American Express Company AXP to report quarterly earnings at $2.41 per share on revenue of $12.50 billion before the opening bell. American Express shares fell 0.3% to $149.80 in after-hours trading.
