4 Stocks Moving In Wednesday's After-Hours Session


Shares of Mistras Group Inc (NYSE: MG) were trading up almost 14 percent in Wednesday’s after-hours session, following the announcement of the company’s second quarter fiscal 2016 results. The small-cap provider of asset protection solutions reported earnings of $0.39 per share on revenue of $194.79 million, above the Street's consensus estimate, which called for earnings of $0.28 per share on sales of $186.21 million.

Michael Kors Holdings Ltd (NYSE: KORS) gained more than 1 percent after the bell rang. The rise may be a correction of the 2.36 percent decline the stock experienced over the regular session.

Another stock moving on its earnings report was Resources Connection, Inc. (NASDAQ: RECN), down about 0.5 percent since the market closed. The small-cap multinational consulting firm released earnings of $0.23 per share on revenue of $150.89 million, missing analyst estimates. The Street was modeling consensus earnings of $0.24 per share on revenue of $153.83 million.

Zumiez Inc. (NASDAQ: ZUMZ) was up more than 14 percent after the bell rang. The surge was triggered by the report of the company's December sales, and an increased guidance for its fourth quarter. The retailer said it anticipates fiscal fourth quarter net sales in the $237 million to $239 million range, and net income between $0.45 per share and $0.47 per share.
