Fisker Chief Accounting Officer Resigns Less Than Two Weeks After Joining

California-based EV maker Fisker Inc FSR on Monday said that its chief accounting officer Florus Beuting has resigned. Beuting joined the company two weeks ago on Nov. 6.

What Happened: Beuting provided his resignation on Nov.14th, Fisker said in an SEC filing.

Before joining Fisker, Beuting was chief accountant at PLBY Group for over 2 years.

Why It Matters: On Monday, the company also said in a statement that it received a notice from the New York Stock Exchange on Nov. 16 for failing to file its 10-Q for the third quarter with the SEC in time. The company expects to file the form within the next few days, it added.

The company, however, failed to explain the underlying cause for the delay and said that it was ‘unable to file’ despite having ‘dedicated significant resources.’

For the third quarter, the company reported quarterly revenue of $71.8 million, below the consensus estimate of $109.029 million and delivered less than 1,100 vehicles. These results, however, are preliminary and final data will need to be included in the form 10-Q.
