The former first lady has also not been present at Donald Trump’s presidential campaign appearances since attending the kickoff at Mar-a-Lago in November 2022, reported the Washington Post.

While speculations abound, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former friend and adviser, has now revealed that Melania Trump’s intentional lack of communication with the media is a calculated move to maintain an air of mystery around her.

Being silent was “Melania’s armor,” Winston Wolkoff said, adding, “It was a way to protect her by not letting anyone fully know who she is.”

Additionally, according to the report and contrary to popular narratives that suggest a strain in the Trumps’ marriage, some close associates have dismissed such claims.

Dan Leber, a funeral home owner and occasional Mar-a-Lago guest, debunked the rumors, stating, “I don’t believe the stories that say their relationship is bad. Every time one comes out, a week or two later you hear she’s completely supporting him.”

Why It’s Important: Earlier this year, it was reported that Melania Trump had quietly renegotiated her prenup with Donald Trump, with whom she has been married since 2005. Notably, the source said that the renegotiation was not due to any plans to leave the former president.

“This agreement was necessary because of the current legal battles,” the source said.
